At Arbour Healthcare Group, the safety and wellbeing of children, young people, and adults at risk is at the heart of everything we do.

We are committed to creating and maintaining an environment where everyone feels safe, respected, and protected from harm. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility - whether you’re a team member, external professional, or member of the public - and we take every concern seriously.

What is a Safeguarding Concern?

A safeguarding referral is the process of reporting a concern about the safety or wellbeing of a child, young person, or adult who may be at risk of abuse, neglect, exploitation, or harm.

Concerns may include (but are not limited to):

  • Physical, emotional or sexual abuse
  • Neglect or self-neglect
  • Bullying, harassment or discrimination
  • Concerns about mental capacity or mental health
  • Exposure to unsafe or harmful environments
  • Signs of grooming or exploitation including criminal or sexual exploitation.

If you believe someone is at immediate risk of harm, you must contact emergency services by dialling 999.
