Mental Health Awareness Week – Let’s Take Action Together

11th – 17th May 2026

Awareness matters – but real change comes when we take action too.

At Arbour Healthcare, we know that mental health is just as important as physical health. That is why this year's Mental Health Awareness Week theme – Action – resonates so deeply with our values.

This week is not just about talking. It is about doing. It is about the small, consistent actions that protect our wellbeing and the wellbeing of those around us.

Three Ways to Take Action This Week

1. For Yourself – Find Your One Thing

Look after your mind and body. Do one thing each day that supports your wellbeing. It does not have to be big. A short walk. A proper lunch break. Five minutes of quiet. One small action, repeated daily, creates lasting change.

2. For Someone Else – Check In, Be Kind, Listen

A simple conversation can make a big difference. You do not need to have all the answers. Just being present, listening without judgement, and showing you care can be enough. Be there for the people around you.

3. For All of Us – Build a Kinder Community

Together, we can build a stronger, kinder, healthier Arbour community. Mental health support is not just an individual responsibility – it is something we share. When one of us struggles, we all help. When one of us thrives, we all benefit.

Wear It Green Day – Thursday 15th May

Join us on Thursday 15th May by wearing something green. It is a simple, visible way to show your support for mental health awareness and to remind colleagues that they are not alone.
